Mother’s Day is a short three days away and if you haven’t planned anything for the moms in your life, NOW is the time to do it. I’ve compiled a few fun ideas in the Nashville and Murfreesboro area for you and hope that at least one of them sounds like something your mom, grandma or wife would enjoy!
Historic Travellers Rest Plantation and Museum
Built in 1799, the Travellers Rest Plantation is the oldest house museum open to the public in Nashville. It’s located just 6 miles south of downtown Nashville and tours will begin at noon on Mother’s Day. From 11am-2pm they are offering brunch and mimosas on the grounds. Tickets are $49.50 per person and ages 5 and under are free. Tickets include the meal (featuring salad, beef tenderloin and red potatoes as well as a variety of dessert options), an all-you-can-drink mimosa and bloody mary bar, as well as a grounds tour. Five Senses Restaurant, Bar & Catering

Country Music Hall of Fame Mother’s Day Brunch
At the Country Music Hall of Fame, there will be two seatings – at 10am and 1pm – for Mother’s Day brunch. There will be a huge variety of selections including scrambled eggs and toppings, biscuits, fresh-made Belgian waffles, Caesar salad, smoked salmon and trout, chuck roast, bacon-wrapped turkey breast, and an assortment of cheesecakes, tartelettes, crème brulee and cupcakes for dessert. While eating brunch, you’ll be treated to a performance by the Martin Family Circus and the price of your ticket also includes museum admission as well as a family photo. Tickets are $65 for adults, $25 for kids ages 5-12 and free for kids under 5. To purchase tickets, click here.
